Music has an effect on people due to the music's tempo, beat, and rhythm. Well in my opinion these things definately due impact my mood but there's something missing. Not only do those three things have an impact but in my opinion, the lyrics have a lot to do with how music has an effect on someone's mood. For instance, i was listening to a song on the radio and it had like a fast beat and it was a rock song. I was jamming to it with some friends getting pumped but then my friend said to listen to the lyrics. So i start listening and the song was about suicide and things like that. It completely changed my mood towards the song. It's lyrics were really touching and instead of being all pumped and hyper instead i was just chill listening to those lyrics. Lyrics have a lot do in my prespective. Next time you listen to a song, pay attention to what it's saying and it's message.
